This collection contains letters written and received by Edmund R. Greenwood during his time of military service in World War II. Most of the letters are between him and his parents. He tells of his daily activities. Also included are six photographs.

Edmund R. Greenwood lived in Terre Haute, Indiana where he attended school. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in March 1944 and served as a truck driver in the 341 Infantry Regiment, 86 Infantry Division in France, Belgium and Germany.
